Blood clots in the calf can cause swelling or pain, and as a result, the blood clot can reach the lungs, which can be fatal. Blood clots in the brain can cause severe headaches. During pregnancy, various other problems cause severe headaches. Consult your doctor if you have severe headaches or have a history of blood clots.

Vaginal Itching and Discharge 

It is normal to have some vaginal discharge. But in some cases, it can be an infection or a sexually transmitted disease that could lead to significant consequences in pregnancy and harm the baby.

Chronic Diseases

During pregnancy, women with certain pre-existing medical conditions like asthma or lupus, diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease must notice any changes in their condition. If your underlying illness gets worse, it can severely affect your health and that of your baby.
